GrooveFunnels Vs LeadPages. The Clear Winner
In this article, I’ll be going over the differences between the two softwares, so that you can get a better idea, of which one is best for you.
We’ll first look at what each of them are, what they do, how much each of them costs.
Then we’ll go over the free trials if there are any, and finally, I’ll go over which I think is the better option. Let’s check it out.
GrooveFunnels & LeadPages
GrooveFunnels
GrooveFunnels is an all in one digital marketing platform, created by ex-cofounder of Kartra, Mike Filsaime, and the team of GrooveDigital.
GrooveFunnels allows you to do everything from creating landing pages, do email marketing, run webinars, create membership sites, sell your own digital products and a lot more.
The actual GrooveFunnels landing page builder, is called GroovePages, and it’s using groundbreaking Javascript wireframe technology, to make pages that both load super fast, and are also mobile responsive.
LeadPages
LeadPages is a page building software. So it’s specifically made to create landing pages, pop-up forms, alert bars and the likes.
Its drag-and-drop website builder was created to be simple, practical and to the point, so that even the most novice of users, will not have a problem getting used to it.
It has complete premade site templates, that you can easily edit and modify or create from scratch, which gives you that flexibility for both saving time and using proven to work templates, or for you to come up with your own designs.
You can customize backgrounds, texts and complete sections, columns, add a slwe of different widgets, modify layouts and so on, so as to maximize your website traffic to leads conversion.
Features
GrooveFunnels
The main features like, we were mentioning, are mainly the ability to both create websites funnels and landing pages, but also to serve as a hub for every other marketing tool that can deal with any other online marketing process you would want to accomplish.
GrooveFunnels has a complete set of tools designed for different functions, and it’s a bit too much to mention in this article, but I’ve gone over every single one of the tools inside the GrooveFunnels review article, here, which you can check out if you want to know more about the individual tools.
Apart from that GrooveFunnels also has a lot of backend offers and services such as conventions, meetups, cruises, ad agencies to manage your advertising, solo ads and much more.
In addition to that, they also have a Software developers kit, which is essentially like an open-source platform in which developers will be able to add their own tweaks, code and their own apps just like the Android and iPhone Play Store.
These are just some of the features that are currently available, although they’ll be adding more, and as of the writing of this article, they’re still working on some of the tools like the blog builder, the webinar hoster and so on.
LeadPages
Since LeadPages is more of a page builder, and not a complete all-in-one marketing platform, like GrooveFunnels, we can only mention and go over the features of the page builder itself.
In this case, and depending on the plan you’ve chosen, LeadPages offers you some features like:
- 200 Page templates
- drag-and-drop layouts
- a/b testing and conversion optimization
- email notifications and a bunch of integrations
- custom landing pages
- Optins
- Widgets
- Countdown timers
There are also some additional features like:
Leadboxes – Custom designed pop-up forms, that you can display whenever you wish, similar to something like Thrive Leads.
Leadlinks – Allows subscribers to “one-click” sign in.
Leaddigits – Allows leads to optin via phones and text messages.
Pricing
GrooveFunnels
When it comes to pricing, GrooveFunnels has a few different options, that you can choose from:
Silver plan which goes for $99/month, the Gold Plan which costs $199/month and finally, the Platinum plan, which is worths $299/month.
Each plan, gives you access to a different amount of tools and also a different set of contacts available to you.
For the Silver plan, you get access to: GroovePages (pro), GrooveVideo, GrooveMail (10,000 contacts), GrooveMember, GrooveSell and GrooveAffiliate.
With the Gold plan, you get the same tools as in the silver plan, with the addition of GrooveBlog, GrooveSurvey, GrooveQuiz, GrooveCalendar and GrooveDesk. Since GrooveFunnels is fairly recent, not all of the tools are actually available, as of the writing of this article so please keep that in mind.
With the Platinum plan, you get every tool inside of the Gold plan, with the addition of GrooveWebinar, live and automated, as well as GrooveFunnels for Shopify.
If you want to learn more about the GrooveFunnels pricing, you can check out my up-to-date review and more in depth article, here.
LeadPages
LeadPages has three different, distinct pricing options. These are:
Advanced, Pro and Standard.
The plans go for $37/month for the Standard Plan, $79/month for the Pro Plan and $321/month for the Advanced plan.
You also have the choice of getting these plans at an annual price, which gets you up to 39% off, and also gives you a free domain.
LeadPages annual, costs $25/month, $48/month and $199/month respectively.
The different prices limit you, in the amount of sites you’ll be able to create, and also in some of the features.
So for example, the standard plan, gives you access to 3 sites, and some of the features, but leaves out the ability to do email trigger links, advances integrations, online sales payments and A/B split testing, amongst some other things.
Whereas, the Advanced plan, gives you access to up to 50 sites, and gives you all of the features available.
For more information, you can check out the LeadPages pricing page here.
Free Trials
When it comes o free plan or free trials or free plans, what does each software program offer?
GrooveFunnels
In the case of GrooveFunnels, you can actually get the funnel, page and website builder GroovePages (lite version) for free, alongside the sales tool and affiliate platform (GrooveSell and GrooveAffiliate) and you don’t even need to add your credit card to do it.
Also, with the free GrooveFunnels account (called GrooveFunnels base account, which you can get for free here) you also get access to up to 3 custom domain integrations and free hosting.
This is absolutely unheard of, and pretty much no other company of this kind is doing this.
Yes, you’ll still have to get your own domain, but instead of paying for hosting every month, GrooveFunnels will actually host your sites for you free of charge.
LeadPages
LeadPages gives you access to a free 14-day free trial, so that you can try out the software and build your websites, optin pages, pop-ups and alert bars, without having to commit to actually paying the software.
It’s a good enough window of time, for you to be able to get your feet wet.
To get access to the trial, you’ll have to first choose the payment plan you would want to be associated with. This is so that when your free account has expired, that they don’t discontinue the service, and you can keep using LeadPages.
The issue with this of course, is that you’ll have to actually enter your credit card or create a recurring billing with Paypal, to actually be able to use it.

GrooveFunnels vs LeadPages, Final Verdict
That would be the conclusion of this GrooveFunnels vs LeadPages article, I hope that you enjoyed.
I hope that the information here was good enough to have you make a good decision, when it comes to choosing between both of the products.
When it comes to which software is better, in my honest opinion, I think that GrooveFunnels will beat LeadPages any day of the week.
This is because, not only is the software more useful and has more tools…but it’s also cheaper more powerful, more up-to-date and more modern. You basically get access to the main funnel builder for free, 3 free websites and free hosting, with the option to upgrade to get access to a lot more tools.
As much as LeadPages likes to say they offer a “free domain” and “free hosting”…it’s only until you’ve paid the plan that you’ll be given one, and the hosting is probably included in your plan too.
GrooveFunnels doesn’t offer a free domain, but gives you free hosting, and gives you the page builder to use for free. So if you have a domain, you’re good to go.
So yes, you could be paying about half the price only for the funnel Builder, in the case of LeadPages… but by paying a bit more you also get access to an email automation software a video hosting tool a membership site builder sales processor and the affiliate platform.
Not only that but the free version of GrooveFunnels (GrooveFunnels base account) already gives you a lot more for a lot less (since you can actually use the landing page software, add custom domains and even sell your own product or other people’s products using the other free tools).
And plus you don’t have to even add your credit card and it’s not for 14 days it’s essentially free forever.
- So if you want to go only with a page builder, even though you could use LeadPages…I’d still recommend the free version of GrooveFunnels, because the page builder is better and it’s free to get started (you even get free hosting and up to 3 custom domain integrations without having to pay anything).
- And if you want to get a more complete robust high quality experience that goes beyond only the page builder, but also includes all of the other tools that you’ll probably need anyways, I would highly recommend getting GrooveFunnels
